Life can feel so overwhelming at times! Sometimes it's difficult to cope with everything happening all at once. Sometimes it's difficult to cope with things that happened in our past. Sometimes we're feeling burnt out and we don't know why. My goal is to help you work through heavy things, manage your stress/emotions/feelings, and learn tools to cope. Today's stress and past heaviness can affect our lives in different ways. We can help you work towards finding a better balance of Emotional Wellness.
Specifically, I focus on PTSD, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I practice from a Mindfulness, Client Centered Perspective using a Strengths Based Approach while incorporating different therapies such as EMDR, CBT, MI, Psychoanalytic, and more.
15 yrs experience (mental health/counseling). In my current role as a Therapist at Winding Roads Integrative Counseling, I incorporate traditional psychotherapies with an integrative approach. I specialize in trauma healing, causes of stress, negative self-talk, life skills, relaxation techniques, empowerment and strategies for better communication.
