Victory Treatment Program is located in KNOXVILLE, TN and is now accepting new patients for outpatient treatment of opiate and alcohol addiction. About us and what we do: Victory Treatment Program specializes in the outpatient treatment of opiate and alcohol addiction with the use of Vivitrol (Naltrexone). We are committed to providing effective treatment for substance dependence and providing long term sobriety for individuals who have a substance abuse problem. Vivitrol is a once a month prescription injectable used to treat both alcohol and opioid addiction. It is useful to both prevent relapse after a successful detox from other opioids and can be used as an alternate to Suboxone and Methadone. One of Vivitrol's key benefits is that it can be used on a monthly basis, making it a convenient option for those struggling to travel to an Opioid Treatment Program on a more regular basis. Vivitrol is a complete opiate antagonist which has no psychoactive properties other than to bind to an opiate receptor in the brain and block the superimposed opiate. If a patient uses either heroin or an opiate based pain medication while taking Vivitrol, they will feel no effect from that opiate. Many patients have reclaimed their place in society and rebuilt their lives by successfully completing the VIVITROL® Program.
Other treatments are combined with the injection to further success rates, such as counseling, meetings, medications, exercise, and religion. Victory with Vivitrol
Once a month Victory offers a group therapy session in the office. Focus is placed on behavior modification, supportive measures, and disease processes. The time is posted in the office and varies. Friends and family are welcome to attend and there is no cost for the sessions. It is a good opportunity to meet with others who have similar issues and discuss experiences, get encouragement and praise.
