My ideal clients are those who identify as LGBTQIA+ but especially transgender, (nonbinary, or gender expansive) or those who seek to better understand and support an LGBTQIA+ loved one. I operate from a systems perspective and believe that familial affirmation is key to the mental health and well-being of any LGBTQIA+ individual but especially so in the case of adolescents. I am comfortable addressing religion-based questions and concerns. I am available for individual, family, and group counseling as well as for community education and am able to provide any necessary letters of support for medical transition.
I have been studying the unique mental health needs of the LGBTQIA+ population since 2011. I am a WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) recommended provider and offer I offer individual, group, and family counseling.
