We all go through rough times and sometimes our lives can simply become overwhelming. This is when a trained professional is needed to help us get back on track and find balance. I am a licensed counselor and a certified addiction counselor, having worked in the field for over 30 years and I am here to listen in a supportive, honest, and nonjudgmental atmosphere. Together we can work to develop useful goals. I am an active and practical therapist, valuing confidentiality, trust and building rapport, knowing that most people simply want to find solutions to their problems and live the most satisfying lives possible.
My speciality areas include substance abuse, codependency, relationship issues, marital issues, communication skills, depression, anxiety, and stress. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy in order to provide an individualized treatment plan specific to the needs of the individual, couple, family or groups that I work with.
I am not currently accepting new clients. Morning, evening and some limited weekend appointments will be available once I return to my practice.

Codependency Group
Codependency is the act of making something or someone else more important then yourself. You lose your identity in another, not knowing where you end and the other person begins. When they are happy, you are happy and when they are sad, you are sad. Over time your thoughts, feelings, and actions revolve around that other person, activity, or substance and you increasingly abandon yourself. Recovery requires that you be able to look at yourself, your behaviors and your emotions honestly, and set appropriate boundaries in order to develop a healthy relationship with yourself and others.
