Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
This is a treatment group focused on resolving childhood sexual trauma. Treatment groups differ from support groups in that they are a type of mental health treatment facilitated by a licensed clinical therapist, and each member has an individualized treatment plan unique to them. The therapist and client collaborate to determine the specific treatment goals used to develop each client’s treatment plan. Some group therapy goals are to reduce feelings of stigma and isolation, to establish healthy boundaries and trust, or to identify, experience and express feelings other than anger. Trauma & PTSD
Seeking new members. This group welcomes male and female adults who have survived a traumatic experience. The group is structured to offer a safe and supportive environment to explore the impact of the trauma. Additional group goals are to reduce feelings of isolation, identify, experience and express feelings other than anger, and to attain a level of healthy functioning. Please note that there is also a sexual trauma group offered on alternate Monday nights for those who have experienced sexual trauma. To register or obtain additional information, contact Dawn.
