I have 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist-- you can count on feeling safe and trust that our work together will help. I have openings for individuals and couples who need relief from depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, traumatic memories, psychosomatic illnesses, and living with medical conditions . I study and practice psychodynamic psychotherapy, a time-tested method of psychotherapy known as the "talking cure".
The approach I use has a unique richness in allowing problems to unfold. This type of therapy works in depth, allowing layers to surface for observation and understanding. A lot of my clients don't know what is wrong with them, but they definitely know things are not right.
I have a small private practice by design so that I can offer good client service. I handle all phone calls and scheduling questions personally. I practice, study and teach seminars in psychotherapy. Making the first phone call is often the hardest part of the process. I look forward to hearing from you.
