You struggle with the sense of not being good enough, the relentless anxiety and worries, low mood, feeling alone and lonely, and not belong. You suffer from the imposter syndrome, experience guilt when it wasn't your fault, and end up feeling resentment after constantly serving others' needs. You often make decisions based on fear and sometimes the voice of self-doubt blocks you from pursuing the life you want. You would like to feel happy and content in life, build self-confidence, stop worrying too much, enjoy relationships, and shake off the thought you should be doing more.
I see issues through the lens of how our past unmet needs are affecting us. I specialize in traumatic experiences, childhood emotional abuse/neglect, anxiety and depression that stem from past trauma, and immigration stress/cultural trauma. I am a certified EMDR therapist and my approaches are trauma-informed, integrative, and mindfulness-based.
I am passionate about helping women and BIPOC individuals to learn various skills, build confidence, and have successful life they deserve.
