I know life can be very difficult sometimes and even the most functional or "successful" people may benefit from quality therapy. I am a seasoned psychologist who understands and can help with the difficulties such as mood and anxiety struggles, sense of self or self-esteem issues, relationship concerns, school, job, and career challenges, trauma and grief issues, and/or the existential challenges humans may face such as life purpose, deep loneliness, etc. I am dedicated to work compassionately and effectively with adults of all ages, be it via individual therapy or group therapy.
I aim to increase peace of mind, internal freedom and happiness. I respond to clients in a holistic way, unique to them. I am skilled and experienced in cognitive, psychodynamic, spiritual, and family systems approaches. I am certified as a teacher of mindfulness meditation via a two-year professional training program under Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
I have worked with numerous people from all walks of life for many years, in community mental health, inpatient/partial hospital, college counseling center and outpatient settings. My style is warm, interactive, respectful and collaborative. I build upon people's strengths and resiliencies, and I am also highly skilled at helping with very serious difficulties.
