My passion is serving children, teens, their families, and young women through fostering healthy emotional development, creativity, self-esteem, and healing. I offer counseling services for children (ages 3+), adolescents, individual adults. My approach focuses on establishing an atmosphere of warmth, safety, and acceptance to provide my clients the space to work collaboratively with me towards their goals, positive growth/development, and overall wellness. Within this relationship, I assist my clients in challenging and replacing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are keeping them from a living a fuller and more satisfying life.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Masters in Counseling from the leading counseling program in Texas and the world renowned Play Therapy program at the University of North Texas. I was privileged to study and intern under leaders in the play therapy and filial field.
Seeing clients on M(pm),T, W, Th, and Sat.(am). Sliding Scale rates available for those who qualify. *My specialties include: Play Therapy (especially with 3-7 year olds), expressive art therapy with pre-teen/teen girls, and animal-assisted therapy with my registered therapy dog.
