I am a seasoned therapist having seen clients for over 30 years. I join with you in partnership to accomplish your unique goals which together we determine. Individuals, Couples, Families and Groups make up my private practice experience. I am particularly adept with Men's Issues, Marital/Relationship Therapy, LGBTQIA concerns, mood disorders, and survivors of Trauma (PTSD). Our work together will facilitate your self-awareness which will empower you to make more conscious choices in specific circumstances. You will gain a set of practical tools from which you may draw as you embark upon a richer more fulfilling experience of life.
I specialize in Human Beings. Sensitive to multi-cultural issues and people of color, I find empowering all people including the Black, Latino, Asian/South Asian communities. People are people and may have personal, bio-chemical, psychological and behavioral issues no matter who you are. There should be no stigma or shame for any of us seeking therapy.

Groups
Transgender Groups - Adults (18+) or Teens (14-18)
This vital group therapy will be starting October 24. Adults will be meeting the FIRST and THIRD Sundays and Teens the SECOND and FOURTH Sundays from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Offices of Scott Polenz, LMFT. 2 Gay Men's Groups (Young adults 20-30 and 40+)
These new Groups for Gay men will provide two different age groups. One group for men 40 years + and another group for young gay men 20 to 30 years. Any and all pertinent topics will be addressed in a safe and supportive environment emphasizing development of interpersonal friendships. For more information contact Scott Polenz LMFT.
