Many events in life that bring us joy also come with stress, uncertainty & loss. While struggles experienced from major life transitions can be painful, they provide us with opportunities for growth. Working with clients who are adjusting to a major life change is something I am passionate about as a therapist. Getting married, starting a family, struggling in a relationship, contemplating or going through divorce, changing or leaving a career, becoming empty nesters, these are common transitions that can be hard to deal with and make us question our identity. If you need support dealing with a major life change I'm here to help.
As a therapist my style is warm, nurturing & supportive. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy. Through this relationship my goal is for clients to gain better understanding of themselves. I encourage clients to find balance in their lives and stress the importance of mental and physical self care.
In addition to helping people reestablish direction after a major life change I also have experience working with a wide range of issues and challenges including relationship & intimacy issues, depression, anxiety, family changes, family conflict, women's issues and emotional concerns. I provide individual counseling to adults and adolescents as well as couples counseling.
