My practice specializes in the treatment of women with a history of trauma or other negative experiences which have impacted their self-esteem, decision making and quality of relationships. Commons past experiences presented by my clients include child/sexual/physical/emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse, automobile accidents, divorce and addictions. Many of my clients have had or currently are in traditional talk therapy and wish to speed up their healing or get deeper than traditional therapy can get to. They often are living the same "story" which was first written in childhood and wish to re-write a more empowering narrative.
I am an EMDR and IFS trained therapist offering trauma focused treatment to women suffering from negative past events. These researched interventions heal the impact trauma has had on the brain, often leading to increased self-esteem, decrease distress related to past events and the ending of negative patterns.
