Life can be hard as it is currently being lived. Sometimes our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors get so intense that we don't know how to effectively navigate life. I am an intensively trained DBT therapist through Behavioral Tech, LLC. I truly believes that learning a new set of effective and healthy coping skills can and will create a life worth living.
In therapy we will utilize mindfulness, cognitive, and behavioral skills to help steer you toward your goals for therapy. I believe in creating a therapeutic environment where we can create a balance of acceptance and change in your life.
I work with both adolescents (14-17) and adults. I provide individual DBT therapy and have DBT skills classes for both populations.

Adult DBT Skills Class

Age Range: 18 and up. The Adult DBT Class is broken up in to 3 (eight week) long modules, each module teaching a different set of DBT skills. Modules Taught: Mindfulness, Walking the Middle Path, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance. New clients can join at the start of every 8 week module. We also offer a virtual adult group on Wednesdays from 11:00 to 12:30 and another in person group Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30pm.

The Parent and Family DBT class in broken up into 4 (six week) long modules, each module teaching a different set of DBT skills. Modules Taught: Mindfulness, Walking the Middle Path, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance. New clients can join at the start of every 6 week module. This class mirrors the high school DBT class and is an essential part of DBT.
