I recognize that depression and anxiety can be logical responses to difficult life events. Many adults who experienced losses and traumas in childhood have never processed these events and continue to suffer their impacts. Let me help you in your healing process. I offer weekend and evening on-line appointments with affordable fees and a supportive, solution-oriented approach. I am trained in therapies for emotion regulation such as DBT and cognitive restructuring. LGBT-ally and polyamory-friendly.
I see medications and therapy as working together to help people heal. I understand that many people have mixed feelings about medication and I respect all views. Side effects are a real concern, and should not be ignored. It is your quality of life; the choices should be yours too. When it comes to medications, I am a guide, not a dictator.

AFAB Autistics, late-in-life diagnosis
Autism looks different in people who are AFAB (assigned female at birth), than it does for people who are AMAB (assigned male at birth). For this reason, many AFAB people with autism stay under the radar, and the average age of diagnosis for an AFAB person is age 21. This group is for AFAB people to share their experiences and support each other in their journey of self-discovery and understanding of the differences they share. (note: this is an online group)
