As a client-focused, strength based, brief therapist I believe clients lead the way. It is my privilege to help you move towards your goals through self awareness and skills-based guidance. A person is much more than a diagnosis and at times labels can get in the way. Changes that match who a person is and where they are in their life lead to success. What we create together should be manageable so that "better" continues after our relationship ends.
I work with all ages however I am a children's mental health specialist. Children don't live in a vacumn so my work extends to couples and families as well.
My work with children is through play therapy; the language of children. I have extensive experience working with trauma, and training in family and couples therapy. I am also trained in DBT, which I use extensively in my practice.
