Welcome! The idea of counseling can be scary no matter what our age. And finding the right “fit” can be critical for your success in counseling. Here’s a bit about me and my practice and why we may be a good fit for you. Clients and their families come to my practice to gain a sense of what patterns are keeping them stuck. Together we face what has been avoided in order to achieve greater satisfaction and fulfillment in our lives. Counselors are human too! I use humor to normalize symptoms of stress and provide a warm comfortable environment to let go and take new supported risks.
My objective is to help bring awareness to the answers that lie within you, learn stress reduction techniques, and guide you to take supported risks that can change your life. My practice works with the philosophy that past experiences can impact our present triggers, current relationships, and even future decisions.
We work with traumas or past experiences (through EMDR), big or small, to bring healing and resolution. Therapy is customized to meet your individual needs and goals.
