I have 17 years specialized training & experience in body-centered psychotherapies, working with trauma, post traumatic stress & moral injury. Neuroscience confirms trauma resides in the body; we know the body's wisdom guides the release of trauma perfectly with adequate safety, effective "witnessing," & mindful inner attention. Distressing thoughts, beliefs & social inhibition are the primary barriers to the body's ability to release trauma & re-wire the neurological system in a transformational process that decades of "talk therapy" could never accomplish. These powerful, highly effective interventions assure the debilitating effects of trauma are no longer something people must "live with."
My Masters degree in Counseling emphasized Marriage & Family Therapy. I am available as a Guardian ad Litem, Parenting Facilitator, Family Therapist and Individual Therapist for adults, teens, and children. I work with "high conflict" parents and other families in Family Court. I also offer meditation and mindfulness guidance and instruction.
I have 16 years intensive training and experience in being with dying people and their loved ones. Careful attunement to the dying person's specific needs, wishes and experience in her/his dying, creates a deeply personal, sacred paradigm shift in the dying process for all who are affected.

These periodic groups combine traditional therapeutic interventions with practices from the Mystical Spiritual and Wisdom Traditions, along with physical movement. The work is integrated with art: music, poetry, etc. It is appropriate for those experiencing significant emotional/psychological pain and suffering, survivors of trauma, as well as Counseling Professionals who no longer benefit adequately from mainstream therapy. It is the most effective process found so far to rapidly address virtually any difficulty, from distress in adjusting to change, to severe, intractable post traumatic stress & "moral injury" in combat veterans.
