My greatest strength is engaging clients, making them feel comfortable with me and the theraputic process right off the bat. I create an environment of trust, lack of judgment, empathy, and most importantly hope. Once trust between myself and the client has been established, I challenge clients to reach beyond their comfort zone. In my office, which is a nurturing environment, I can expose patients who have obsessive, anxious, depressed, or self destructive thoughts to other ways of being and seeing the world. I work with clients of all ages (from 6 years to 60 years) to conquer fears and lead freer, more content lives.
I specialize in children, adolescents and parents who are experiencing street, OCD, anxiety, autistic spectrum disorders, depression, life-changes (i.e. family disruption, death of a loved one, college transition), learning disabilities, ADHD, and behavioral issues as well adult women in challenging relationships, experiencing loss, divorce, illness.
I have had a great deal of experience working with small children, teens, and adults experiencing psychological challenges. my goal is to make the process of coming therapy as warm as possible and I want patients to feel connected to me so that we can move forward and work together to encourage change.
