The Yale Psychology Department Clinic (YPDC), formerly named the Yale Center for Anxiety and Mood Disorders (YCAMD), has operated as the primary departmental clinic for over 20 years. Advanced doctoral students in clinical psychology provide evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy under the supervision of licensed clinical psychologists. Individual, group, couples, and family approaches to treatment are offered from a cognitive behavioral theoretical orientation. Therapy tends to be brief and problem focused, and the fees are determined on a sliding scale. We also offer a variety of mental health skills groups.
The Psychology Department Clinic provides high-quality, affordable services to adolescents and adults in the greater New Haven area. For further information regarding clinic services and/or to set up a free phone consultation, please call (203) 432-4520.
We train advanced doctoral students who are working toward their Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. All trainees are supervised by Yale faculty and licensed psychologists from the community.
