I am a National Board Certified Counselor. I have worked with people in a variety of settings for over 40 years. My background includes being the Director of Counseling at a well known college, hospital social work, and with individuals in long term rehabilitation. I have been an adjunct instructor of Social Work, Psychology and Sociology. I stress confidentiality in my practice and want my clients to be comfortable knowing their privacy is acknowledged and protected. I currently specialize in Grief Counseling, Depression and Anxiety and issues in the LGBTQ+ community. My practice is out of my home which insures privacy.
I work with men and women, couples and families. In my practice I deal with a multitude of issues that impact families and individuals daily. My approach in my practice is to communicate with my clients in plain everyday language, and working with them to develop a realistic, common sense approach to address their issues.
Sliding scale billing is available. Special consideration for active Military, veterans and their families. Private entrance available to insure privacy .I strive to keep it simple, keep it real and keep our goals attainable.
