I am currently not taking on couples work at this time. I am accepting pre-teen, teens and adults for individual counseling. I have been described by previous clients as compassionate, talented and goal oriented. I have been practicing in the counseling field for over 30 years. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and parents. My goal is to help my clients develop the skills needed to live happier and more balanced lives
My experience is in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I use a combination of Internal Family Systems (I have completed level 1 training), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness training and solution focused treatment for my work with clients.
I have learned a great deal over the years as a counselor. Most importantly, I have learned that the connection between a client and the therapist is paramount in being able to create a safe space where one can learn, grow and make change. Together we will create that space for you.
