Our office is a warm, friendly, and professional place. Respect and personal diginity are two things I value, and try to make part of everything I do. In session, I usually have an eye on how to make positive and realistic change one day at a time. I often provide homework to challenge clients to be growing outside of our sessions. I understand how difficult it is to connect with a therapist. I offer free consults so you can meet me and see if it is good fit.
I have special training Co-Dependence and early trauma using the PIT method developed by Pia Mellody and I have completed the second level training for Internal Family Systems. I am also trained as a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist trained in the Patrick Carnes model
I try to be very collaborative and work WITH people and not AT people. A unique thing about this practice is our acceptance and seeking to be invitational toward all the different parts of people.

Groups
Sexual Addiction Recovery Groups
My SA recovery groups are based on the Patrick Carnes model of recovery. I have a tiered system of groups with each group having a different focus. The first group starts with the basics of recovery and sobriety. The second group is focused on root causes of addictive behavior. The last group is focused on intimacy issues and life changes that lead to long-term recovery and relational healing. The groups are supportive and educational. We use an eclectic combination of materials I have found to be helpful and effective for change. The groups are the heart of the process.
