Certified Supervisor for Counsellors. This is a challenging time for counsellors. Clients are presenting us with complex personal, social, professional, and mental health issues. I am a registered certified supervisor and executive coach with over 40 years of experience as a counsellor, educator, and more recently a university instructor with a robust private practice. My expertise includes critical response, MH, sep/div, children's needs/IEPs, suicide intervention, conflict management, decision-making, and nonviolent communication.
Being a parent, a school counsellor, an educator, and a supervisor has positively impacted my work with colleagues and clients. Together we will deepen your professional practice, help you recharge your batteries, and effectively explore your curiosity, personal and professional strengths, acceptance, compassion, and wisdom.

Managing Emotional Triggers- sadness and fear
This group will be offered in the spring if there is interest. The session will be 2 hours in length and will focus on the negative self-talk that tends to interfere with joy, life planning, work, and family. Learning new skills and strategies to manage thoughts and core beliefs will be central to this workshop. Sharing with others will be optional.
