I have worked with a variety of clients over the years. I have had much success in treating anxiety, depression, stress, school performance, life satisfaction, stress related to gender and sexuality, and parenting. While it is always ideal for a client to walk in the door ready to make changes I also enjoy supporting individuals in getting to that point. Someone who is willing to collaborate and create a space, therapeutic relationship and set of goals together with me will usually see success on some level. I practice from a strength based model.
I connect well with a range of different energies and intensities. I have a calming way about me that encourages the emergence of hard to reach thoughts and feelings. I am eclectic in approach and follow a model of self-exploration, self-acceptance and self-compassion.
I have served as a educational consultant for many years in a number of capacities. I am always willing to connect with schools to foster a collaborative relationship in which the student's needs are better identified and addressed.
