Being a human is hard! You often feel anxious, confused, or frustrated. You might struggle with your body image, food, self-worth, perfectionism, or “shoulding” yourself. Anxiety and depression feel overwhelming. You want things to be different, but you’re unsure how to start. What does feeling your feelings even mean, anyway?! I am passionate about providing a space for queer, fat, and/or neurodivergent humans to unpack the impact of oppression, develop strategies for improved executive functioning and emotional regulation, and discuss practical ways to navigate how hard it is to live in a world that wasn’t made for you.
It is possible to develop a more peaceful relationship with yourself and your body, and learn to ride the waves of your emotions so they feel less overwhelming. My virtual room is a safe space to process your feelings and to explore your identities and values to support you in the living the life you want. The sessions are tailored to your needs and pace.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in anti-oppressive practices, and I use somatic therapy, parts work, and a variety of cognitive methods to support your exploration.
