I believe in the healing capacity of people and my role as a psychotherapist is to provide a safe and supportive environment to help people access their own potential within. My therapeutic approach is diverse and includes transpersonal, solution-focused, client-centred, mindfulness, and narrative psychotherapies. I approach therapy and the clients I serve by connecting to the needs and unique style of each person I am supporting. I work with people navigating various difficulties including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues and more. I have extensive experience in grief and trauma.
I work with people to access their own inner resources for continued healing and growth, that wish to develop greater self-awareness, wellbeing and a more authentic and meaningful life. I believe therapy works best when it's a collaborative process, thriving on the mutual trust of client and therapist. I don't/won't pathologize the human condition.
In private practice since 2012, I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a Registered Social Service Worker. I have served people at the end of life and their grieving families within the Hospice and Palliative care sector, as well as the homeless youth (Covenant House) in the city of Vancouver as a spiritual care practitioner.
