Hi there! I am a trauma-trained, harm-reduction-trained, and qwoc-identified psychotherapist. I combine elements of Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness and meditation in my work with clients. I support individuals, couples and families around struggles with mental and emotional health, trauma, identity, relationships, systemic barriers, substance use, self-harm, disability, and many other life experiences. My politics are rooted in decolonization, pro-Indigeneity, pro-Blackness, and anti-oppressive practice. I am pro-Palestinian, pro-BDS, and pro-Land Back.
I connect our personal struggles to larger systemic realities. Much of my learning comes from the sharing, witnessing, honoring and collaborating that I do with my clients. I am deeply appreciative of and inspired by those whom I work with, and always compelled to strive for self betterment as a therapist.
I am passionate about my role as an empathic listener, an inquisitve collaborator, a sturdy witness and a holder of trust. I strive to create a comfortable, relaxed and down-to-earth environment in session, and appreciate receiving direct feedback from clients on how I can support them better.
