I'm a pre-licensed counsellor practicing integrative psychotherapy; I work with adults of all ages, virtually and in-person. My focus is mental health, self-esteem, and relationships, and I also provide wellness optimization and identity exploration (career, life transitions, power, social location, spirituality). I often help people who experience anxiety, depression, stigma, low self-confidence, addictions, behavioural concerns, anger, and/or are dissatisfied with where they're at. I'm a proud member of the queer community a staunch ally of anyone who contends with societal pressures that don't match their identity. I offer an anti-oppressive space for clients to explore these issues honestly. Exploring identity and "Self" is central to my work with all clients, not just those who are "othered".
The biggest predictor of therapy success is the bond between client and therapist. It's important for you get a chance to feel what it's like to be in a session with me, before you decide to begin therapy. I offer a free 30 minute session to allow for this.
