As soon as we meet, I am invested in you. I will be your biggest encourager but also challenge you to dig deep to disrupt patterns and break cycles. I use personal traits of humour and lightheartedness to create connection - laughter is an excellent coping strategy, after all. I take an eclectic approach to presenting problems across the lifespan. I am equipped to treat multiple diagnoses that you are living with including mood and neurodevelopmental disorders. I can support children and adults alike. Ultimately, my goal is to help you and your family function at the most desirable level emotionally, cognitively and physically.
My specialty includes anything under the neurodiverse umbrella, supporting children, adolescents, parents and adults as well as traumatized individuals. I hold a special place in my heart for new parents. Our focuses can vary based on what you present and need. I use a biological, psychological, social model and focus on each facet equally in treatment.
The most important role I fulfill is “Mama” to a neurodiverse 4 year old. I believe everyone’s journey through life is utterly unique. I will strive to bring my lived experiences to my practice and treat clients with care, compassion and dignity regardless of labels.
