As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for people to share their struggles, feelings of overwhelm, the impacts of significant events in their life, past traumatic experiences, and life transitions. I believe we are not meant to be alone in our grief feelings, and we heal by sharing our thoughts, feelings, and experiences with someone who is objective, caring and compassionate. Utilizing an integrative approach, I use a variety of techniques, including focusing,-oriented therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness tools, and trauma informed practices.
My training is in psychology, trauma, addictions and related issues. Over the past 20 years I have worked with a wide spectrum of people. Working with survivors of trauma has been a major focus in my career.
