My passion in counselling is to create a healthy relationship based on connection, safety, trust, and optimism, while always using a person-centered approach. My experience teaching and work with youth struggling with anxiety and depression inform my practice. I work with children, youth and adults. I draw from some trauma informed therapies such as EFT and Mindfulness and behavior therapies such as CBT and DBT. My modality is eclectic, I can be flexible in adapting to what best suits your personal needs.
My priority is creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel supported, understood and safe.
