Finding the “right” therapist can feel daunting - I hope to make it feel easy! Research shows that our working relationship is incredibly important, so I focus on cultivating a space where you feel comfortable, safe, and heard. I love incorporating humour when appropriate, and checking in to make sure we're on the right track. I believe our past can affect us, and noticing patterns and taking time to understand ourselves can help us be more present, comfortable, and kind with ourselves. I'll listen to you without judgement and support you in pursuing what matters most to you. With me, you can show up exactly as you are.
I understand how cultural identities can shape our lives. I leave space for discussion about how our issues may be rooted in trauma, colonization, and social systems. I work with an intersectional lens and I’m passionate about working with fellow LGBTQIA2S+ folks. I would love to help you reconnect with the wisdom you already hold within yourself.
Looking for a therapist is a great step in taking care of yourself. If you think we could be a good fit, I would love to hear from you! We can have a call where you can learn more about what it would be like to work with me, and I can learn about what you're looking for help with so we can decide if we'd like to give it a try!
