I am a Registered Psychologist and I work with adults and teens/youth presenting with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, anger management, sleep difficulties, and overall life transitions and difficulties. I believe that life can be a beautiful journey but at times along the way we can experience difficulties and have moments in which we lose our way. I believe when given the right tools and support people can overcome stressful life events.
I focus on a strength-based approach, tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each client. Therapy is designed around exploring beliefs and barriers which are keeping us from reaching our full potential. My treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused interventions.
Recognizing that we need help and support is the first step and knowing when problems have become bigger than we can handle is hard.
