At some point in most relationships, couples experience conflict and sexual disconnection. I help individuals/couples struggling with verbal & sexual communication so they can develop healthier relationships and/or increased sexual connectedness. Are you struggling with communication issues? Conflict? Differences in desire? Illness? Trust issues? Arousal issues? Sexual trauma? I can help you gain insight into your challenges and provide tools to strengthen communication and improve sexual/ intimacy experiences. I help clients with medical issues such as cancer and chronic pain cope so you can have an increased quality of life.
I draw on evidence based treatments, current research and years of personal insight from life experience & my work as a therapist. This will guide our work. I offer you opportunities to engage in practice activities in between sessions so you can build skills and share what those experiences are like when we next meet. So yes, you do get homework!
I know it's hard to reach out for help. It can make us feel vulnerable and scared but, reaching out for help is also the first step to processing challenging situations and moving toward the life you want to live. With my gentle, approachable, trauma informed, non judgemental style, you will have a safe space to share what is going on and to tell your story.
