I believe that our relationships can be sites of powerful healing. As a therapist it is an honour to work alongside couples and families as their relationships - to one another, to others, to themselves - transform. It is through this transformation that we come to better understand ourselves and create new ways of being that are more compassionate, empathetic and generative.
With specialized training in Couple & Family Therapy and a background in sex education, I am experienced at helping clients work through life's challenges. Presenting concerns that I often work with include: depression & anxiety; infidelity & sexual disconnection; gender identity & transitioning; non-monogamy & kink; and trauma & grief.
Clients who work with me embody a diversity of histories, backgrounds and experiences and I work using an anti-oppressive and feminist lens. As a person with a physical disability I have spent my life thinking critically about systems of power and privilege. I believe that therapy is justice-doing work and I advocate for and resist alongside clients.
