I am naturally drawn to a Solution Focused approach; however, I utilize interventions from several different modalities and maintain an overall humanistic approach to working with clients. I work with clients being challenged by anxiety, depression, and relationship issues in their daily lives. I believe that our personal experiences impact the way we view the world, and our emotions play a key role in our behaviour and choices.
By creating a safe, empathetic environment in session, I believe we all have the ability to make positive changes through self-discovery. My goal when working with clients is to help them discover their strengths and provide them with the tools and knowledge to manage life’s challenges in a healthy, constructive way.
One of our basic needs as humans is connection. We are not designed to navigate life and the challenges it presents alone. Through supportive relationships and interactions, we can take on life’s challenges with confidence and success.
