I'm a big-picture thinker and analyzer. Raising 6 kids with my wife and years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families has trained me to see the root issue underneath the emotions and symptoms of a problem. I have been told that I bring a calm presence, spiritual awareness, a genuine ability to listen without judgment, and a decent sense of humour. I am also very open and authentic with my clients, so I do my best to be sensitive while also being upfront and honest.
I consider myself an integrative bodymind therapist. In other words, I try really hard to understand my clients and their concerns before engaging in specialized therapeutic techniques and interventions. However, I always consider the body and mind as inseparable and constantly influencing the other.
