Our team has many years of experience working with clients experiencing sudden shifts and transitions in life resulting in significant overwhelm, relational changes, sadness, stress, grief and anxiety. We work with caregivers and the people they care for experiencing diagnoses and prognoses of all types including: dementia (Alzheimer’s, FTD, Lewy body dementia, vascular dementia), traumatic brain injuries, anoxic brain injuries, mental health diagnoses, cancer, stroke, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, paraplegia and physical changes impacting overall functioning and quality of life.
Common areas we support our caregiver clients with include: boundary work and self-care, burnout/ burnout prevention, grief over the loss of a loved one (commonly ambiguous grief, anticipatory grief and complicated grief), relationship concerns and changes in dynamics with others as a result of caregiving, processing deep emotions and ongoing changes.
We know how hard this journey can be and we appreciate you trusting us as you find your way through it. We look forward to speaking you and supporting you through the laughs, the tears and everything in between.
