Life presents us with challenges that can interfere with health and wholeness. We each have the ability to approach and integrate these challenges, yet it is easier with support. I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years, and so far have come to appreciate the work I do, as I learn from my clients' resilience and inner strength to overcome the challenges and issues that come across their path. I work with individuals seeking support with anxiety, depression, stress/trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions grief and loss. Together we will nurture resiliency, empowerment, wholeness, and well-being.
I practice from a client-centred approach. In a safe, caring environment we will collaborate to identify your needs, establish goals and choose from the many healing tools and modalities available. Together we will discover what best fosters self-understanding and resiliency.
My training and experience are in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and various Mindfulness techniques that help move towards healing and personal growth. I also specialize in treating Trauma/PTSD, using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and various trauma-informed techniques.
