Hello, my name is Christina Ferber, and I am passionate about working with children, youth, and parents. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and with a variety of concerns. I love helping people tap into their inner strength and resources to find hope and build resilience when facing challenges or uncertainty. I have a special interest in positive psychology and mindfulness practices, of which I have experienced numerous benefits in my own life.
I'm trained in Synergetic play therapy, sand tray therapy, and using creative techniques to help engage children and youth. I use an attachment lens to help families and incorporate principles from Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, NeuroRelational Framework, Gottman Emotion Coaching, and the Circle of Security program.
I'm trained in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, among others. I use a client-centred approach as a foundation to explore concerns with you, and to provide interventions that address your specific goals and needs.
