Calling all of the overthinkers, the treatment-resistant depression sufferers, the people who say ‘therapy never worked for me,’ or ‘will never work for me,' the perfectionists and imperfect perfectionists alike. If you break out in hives when you are asked about your five-year plan, I’m your therapist. I promise to challenge you and make you laugh. I promise a safe space to make mistakes. I named my practice Waystation Counseling because way station is defined as, "a stopping point on a journey." I want you to leave your first appointment refreshed with a clear path and a set of goals.
I offer a variety of treatments including DBT for life and social skills, CBT for anxious thinking, and RO DBT for overthinkers. I also provided individual DBT skills appointments and refer out for group appointments when needed.
My website has a client scheduling calendar to make it even easier to get over the hurdle of coming in. You can also email, text, or call. I look forward to hearing from you. Tuesday Evening Adult DBT Virtual Group
Learn DBT skills to help you be more effective in you life. DBT can help most people live a life worth living and was originally developed for clients with Borderline Personality Disorder. Especially helpful for people who feel stuck, depressed, emotional, or who have relationship issues. To join a group please email us: intake@waystationcounseling.org and include the name and contact information for your current therapist. Group is out of network but we provide superbills for submission for reimbursement.
