At Seed of Change Counseling Services, we approach treatment by focusing not only you as an individual, but you as part of a family. I employ several techniques such as DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy, individual, Marriage & Group) EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Neurotherapy (controling the electrical activity in your brain). Thus, I employ evidence-based treatments to improve treatment results.

Saturday adult group
DBT is a specific type of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, These skill groups teach Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance skills. Utilizing experiential activities and group processing to integrate skills into daily life. Clients are required to be receiving concurrent individual treatment. Our groups will focus on the essentials of DBT while addressing the concerns of each individual.
