I am a licensed psychologist practicing in Durham, NC and online in 39 states through PSYPACT . I provide psychotherapy and assessment services to adults and adolescents presenting with a variety of problems and concerns including eating disorders, depression, anxiety, weight management issues, trauma, and grief. I believe that all humans have the desire and ability to be happy and fulfilled. Towards this goal, I assist individuals in developing a deeper understanding of themselves, the relationship between their thoughts and behaviors, and in finding more effective answers to new or reoccurring problems.
My therapeutic style is warm and non-judgmental and I use the latest evidenced-based techniques, which are custom tailored to each individual. It is my hope that our work together will shift habitual patterns, open new possibilities, and provide you with greater fulfillment in life.
Confronting our feelings and giving them the appropriate expression always takes strength, not weakness. - Mr. Rogers
