We all have the ability to heal from the experiences in life that have shaped us. The connection that is built between client and therapist allows for a powerful and moving relationship in which I can accompany you on your healing and recovery journey - in coming home to yourself. I believe the process of healing is a process of reconnecting with life, with self, and with others. With openness, warmth, and humor, I am here to help you to step into the present while healing and claiming freedom from painful emotions and fears, and to help you in understanding conscious and unconscious influences on your daily life.
I work with adults, couples, and parents to explore and heal through issues including trauma, interpersonal/familial/relationship problems, anxiety, parenting, grief, and disordered eating. Using integrative techniques, including narrative, relational, and mindfulness methods, I provide a space for you to feel heard, seen, and to create safety within.
Before private practice, I was Assistant Program Director of a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient eating disorder program, after working as a psychotherapist in college counseling, residential, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care.
