Over the last 11 years, I have had the privilege of working with great people in helping them achieve their potential. I focus especially on creating healthy relationships within the family environment, and teaching children positive self esteem and respect for themselves and others. I apply positive psychology and strength-based training to increase the abilities and desires of youth to succeed and improve performance at home and at school. I have tremendous respect for the notion that no one is great at everything, but through hard work everyone can be great at something.
I use multiple approaches in assisting individual people find the greatness within themselves. All people are unique, so successful treatment must be built around the needs of each individual. The techniques used can help people learn to focus on their strengths, which greatly improves a person's emotional well-being.
I specialize in issues of childhood, adolescence, and family relationships. I work with youth of all ages, along with parents, to identify and create workable solutions to improve concerns. I also have extensive training in working with adults to improve family and marital relationships.
