I specialize in working with people who are looking for help healing anxiety, depression, body image and relationship challenges. The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself, and my background in attachment theory, cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness and the well known trauma treatment called EMDR gives me a unique perspective about the challenges all humans face. I offer online and in person therapy and I can't wait to hear from you!
I am trained in CBT and DBT, specializing in additional elements of self acceptance and mindfulness. I emphasize awareness of thoughts and emotional responses in the body. With this awareness, you will learn effective new life skills that you can immediately apply. For those suffering from trauma, I am a trained EMDR practitioner.
I provide screening and treatment of Eating Disorders. There are several different types of eating disorders. An early screening can identify disordered eating and body image. I know it can be challenging to take the first step to get help but you are not alone. I am the Clinical Director at a local Eating Disorder Treatment Center.
