I know that life can be hard and if you experience a mood disorder or anxiety, or both, those hard times can be overwhelming. I believe there is always hope to make changes so that you can live a better life. I also know that it can be hard to seek help and that many will never reach out, make the call or email. I have seventeen years of mental health experience working with youth, families, groups, and adults. I have worked in the Native American community and community mental health. I am a member of the Lyackson First Nation. I chose the name for my counseling business, "lya'qt Counseling Services", because the word means to "transform it" or to "change it".
