I know that life can be hard and if you experience a mood disorder or anxiety, or both, those hard times can be overwhelming. I believe there is always hope to make changes so that you can live a better life. I also know that it can be hard to seek help and that many will never reach out, make the call or email. But if you do reach out, you are saying you too have hope for change. Awareness is the first step, but without action awareness alone usually doesn't facilitate change. Here is where I think I can help you if you contact me and we can discuss your needs and goals and see if we are a good therapeutic fit.
I have seventeen years of mental health experience working with youth, families, groups, and adults. I have worked in the Native American community and community mental health. I am a member of the Lyackson First Nation. I chose the name for my counseling business, "lya'qt Counseling Services", because the word means to "transform it" or to "change it".
Things can change, and you don't have to do it alone. So if you are ready, call or email me.
