As a seasoned therapist with 24 years experience, I have helped many clients with feelings of anxiety, irritability, depression, anger as a result of trauma and complex trauma. I help clients identify how they would like to improve their lives and help clients through the change process. Making a change can be overwhelming. Using strengths that you already have, we will accomplish your goals and make changes you desire. I am currently offering EMDR Intensives, which are half or full or multiple day EMDR sessions created just for you with you.
I am trained in numerous therapeutic approaches, including EMDR. EMDR is an evidence based modality used to help with symptoms related to Trauma. I am also undergoing Somatic Experience (SE) training. I completed a two year Trauma Studies program through the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis as well as training in Body Centered Psychotherapy.
My down to earth, engaging style allows us to work towards building a therapeutic relationship. Listening to the client and involving them in all aspects of treatment allows clients to understand the patterns that have developed in their lives, become more mindful of the patterns and make changes they seek.
