I am here to help you to take that first step toward change. I believe in holistic, mental health and drug and alcohol treatment services, that will help individuals and families find healing and achieve greater health and wholeness, resulting in changed lives. I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing space for clients to explore and better understand their emotions, ways of thinking, and patterns that create difficulties in their lives.
I hold my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace University in Omaha, NE. I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of Nebraska. I provide court ordered substance abuse evaluations and outpatient treatment.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families who struggle with substance use and mental health issues. In addition to Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts and techniques, I have found that a combination of psychological and spiritual tools help bring about significant growth and change.

Level 1-Outpatient Services

Level 1 Outpatient Services for adults consists of less than 9 hours a week for adults, or less than 6 hours a week for adolescents for recovery or motivational enhancement therapies and strategies. Level 1 Outpatient services may include both individual and group sessions on a weekly basis. This treatment may be engaged in voluntarily, but also adheres to the requirements of probation and the Nebraska court system. Topics include: Abuse/Dependence, Trigger Recognition, Coping Skills, Co-Dependency/Family Dynamics. Group participation is encouraged but is on a volunteer basis.
