I have been working in the counseling field since 2001, at all levels of care. I take a holistic approach (bio-psycho-social-spiritual) to treating the whole person. I offer Outpatient, IOP, Home and Community Outings. I am licensed in AZ, NM, TX and offer both in-person and virtual sessions. I have a heart for walking alongside others in their healing journey and helping them to live out of their true selves and values. I aim to display Hope, Grace and Truth to clients I work with. I am privileged to be in this role as a counselor and feel honored and humbled in continuing to learn from clients.
Eating Disorders, Body Image, BDD, OCD, Phobias, Anxiety, BFRBs are my specialties. Learning to make peace with food and one's body and living a full life are attainable goals. Learning tools to face fears, identify and implement coping strategies to fight obsessions, compulsions and body focused behaviors can lead to freedom and a value filled life
I utilize cognitive behavioral modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT, ERP) to address fears, build coping skills, replace ineffective behaviors and live according to one's values. I utilize experiential strategies such as art, music, outings, self compassion and exposures through different modalities to build confidence and progress.
